I have spent the last 15 years helping consumer goods companies refine and scale their operations and finance departments. More than 1/3 of that time I was head of these departments, developing and documenting processes, performing detailed analysis into all facets of the companies and using these analytics to develop data driven strategies resulting in increased profitability.
Through successes and failures over this time I have gained many lenses to identify and resolve many of the pain points a products company may encounter. I am no stranger to multi-tasking or dynamic growth environments, either. While pursuing my MBA I continued to work full time for a toy company, where my focus was designing and launching a domestic fulfilment network to support massive hyper-growth after acquiring a license for one of the hottest app-toys in the last decade. In my latest role I was accountable for the company's overall profitability. To do this I ensured our books were immaculate, enabling deep analysis into item, customer, brand and channel margin, creating and implementing data-driven changes as needed to increase margin, decrease costs and exceed targeted financial growth plans.
